Methodology
Our process is designed to keep promotional claims, third-party reporting and primary evidence in separate boxes.
1. Define the question
Every page starts with a decision-relevant question: who holds the contract, whether a licence record covers the domain, what currency settles, or how an exact game behaves. Broad impressions are not used to answer narrow factual questions.
2. Follow the source hierarchy
- Primary: ACMA, regulator registers, current terms, account screens, transaction receipts and provider game help.
- Secondary: independent reporting and reviews used for discovery, context and published screenshots.
- User-generated: complaint posts treated as allegations and pattern signals, not established findings.
3. Label the evidence
Confirmed means reproducible primary support. Attributed names the source of a claim we could not independently establish. Unverified means evidence is missing, conflicting or too old. We do not silently upgrade attributed information through repetition.
4. Test the Australian context
Global availability is never used as a substitute for Australian legality. We consult current ACMA guidance and distinguish operator obligations from personal access. This site does not provide legal advice.
5. Refuse false precision
We do not publish a numeric operator rating, fabricated “best” ranking, unverified bonus as active, guaranteed processing time or test result we did not perform. Generated artwork is labelled editorial visualisation and never passed off as a game screenshot.
6. Review and correct
Material pages show a review date. Corrections change the page and source register; they do not erase the fact that earlier evidence was limited. Readers can send a factual correction with a primary source through the contact details in the About page.
